Suppose your website will contain only one podcast show. In that case, you will probably don’t use a specific show page. Your website might represent your single show, so you will quickly display your episodes using Elementor’s Podcast Widget or Essential Grids on any pages you’d like.
But if you have multiple shows to represent, you will probably want to set a single page per show to list their episodes.
Here is a use-case on how to do it:
- Create one Podcast Episode Category per show by going to WP-Admin > Podcast Episodes > Podcast Category > Add new. (Eg: If your show is called “My Show”, create a podcast category called something like “My Show”.
- Add your episodes in WP-Admin > Podcast Episodes and assign them with the previously created category.
- Create or edit your Podcast Show page in WP-Admin > Podcast Show and make sure to assign the podcast category you have previously created. See screenshot https://d.pr/i/xJlsNA
- The show page template will automatically list the episodes using our predefined Essential Grid: https://d.pr/i/7PMIh8 or our custom episode listing module. To switch from one to another, go in WP-Admin > Theme Options > Podcast. See screenshot: https://d.pr/i/akrrBW
