The MP3 Player plugin offers two ways to bulk import audio files and automatically create MP3 Player posts:

1. Using the Batch Creation Tool with Audio Files from the Media Library
2. Using a CSV file containing a list of audio files

Method 1: The Batch Creation Tool with Audio Files from the Media Library

1. Go to WP-Admin > Media > Add New
2. Select multiple audio files to upload
3. Upload all the audio files you need
4. Then, go to WP-Admin > MP3 Player > Tools > Bulk Importer
5. Click “Import Audio from CSV file or Media Library and create post(s) or product(s) in 1-click!”

Now, decide whether you want to:

• Create a playlist post containing multiple audio tracks (e.g., a music album)
• Create a separate post for each track

A – Creating a Playlist Post with Multiple Tracks

1. Select the audio tracks from the Batch Creation Tool list
   • Tip: Increase the “Number of items per page” to see and select all desired audio file
   
   
2. Choose the post type you want to use
   
3. Click “Create One Post With All Selected Tracks”
   

Your post is now created in draft mode, and you need to publish it once it’s ready. If the album name was stored in the audio file’s metadata, the new post should automatically use that name.

B – Creating a Separate Post for Each Track

Follow the same steps, but in Step 1, select all the audio files you want to import, and in Step 3, click “Create Post(s) for Each Selected Track(s)” instead.

Method 2: Importing Audio Files Using a CSV File

With this method, you first need to create a list of the audio files you want to import in a CSV file.

It’s not necessary to fill in all the columns with values.

Once your file is ready:

1. Go to WP-Admin > MP3 Player > Tools > Bulk Importer
   • Click “Import Audio from CSV file or Media Library and create post(s) or product(s) in 1-click!”
2. In the “Import From CSV File” window, upload your CSV file.
3. Choose between the options “Create multiple posts for each audio” or “Create 1 post for all your audio.”
   • Note: If you select “Create 1 post for all your audio”, only the audio files with the same “playlist name” in the CSV file will be grouped together. This allows you to create multiple posts with several tracks in just a few clicks.
4. Select the post type you want to use.
5. Click “Import & Create Post(s)”
6. The posts are created in draft mode. The final step is to publish the posts so they are visible to visitors.
